Quilting Classes
There are some great classes offered at SunFlower Quilts during the month of March.
The Great Beginnings Quilt Class with Marilyn Bosimer has only 1 space left. This class is held on March 8th and 15th.
Sunday, March 18th presents a great opportunity to learn Carol Doak's paper piecing technique to make a Pineapple Wall hanging Quilt. This class is taught by Nancy Volotko.

Log Cabin Block of the Month
The Log Cabin BOM kits will be available March 15th. Be sure to come by and pick yours up.
Flower of the Month BOM
The "Flower of the Month" Block of the Month has just begun. This is our newest BOM. All the fabrics for the quilt come from Northcott and are designed by Ro Gregg. The fabrics are beautiful. The finished quilt measures 102" x 102" and is set on point. The blocks are 21 ½" square. There are 13 blocks, so it will be a 13-month BOM. For the 13th month, you will get your final block and the finishing kit. The cost is $19.99 per month. (This will include all fabrics including blocks, finishing kit fabrics and binding). If you pay in full at time of registration, you get 1 month free. Come by and see February's block, you'll want to sign up! You can see a picture of the first block on our web site.
Charm Packs
We have new charm packs from Moda - "Renewal", "Sanctuary". RJR - Thimbleberries "House and Garden", "Garden Graphics" and "Little Pretties" as well as "London Lawns".
New Fabrics
Come see the new fabrics from Moda: Sanctuary, Spring Fling, Kashmir, Prep School Wovens, Fayette, Moda Swirls.
New RJR fabrics are Garden Graphics. Blank Textiles with Inspiration (Ovarian Cancer Awareness).
New Books
New books by Thimbleberries are here: Quilts for My Sister's House and Learing to Quilt with Jiffy Quilts.
Thimbleberries Club
The Thimbleberries Club 2007 meeting for this month will be either Friday March 9th or Sunday March 11th.
Quilt Pink
Quilt Pink update: Keep checking with us or QuiltPink.com for information about the auction for all the donated quilts. We will send out a newsletter when we have more information.
Idea Saturday
Idea Saturday is the 3rd Saturday every other month at 9am sharp. The next "Idea Saturday" is March 17th. Come by for some ideas and receive a free project booklet with each idea. There will be refreshments, come by, it's a fun morning.
That Quilter
"That Quilter" Donna Warnement will be here the first Tuesday of March, the 6th, from 10 AM - Noon. Bring your tops for quilting or pick up one from last month. Donna does beautiful work!
Moda U Postcard Mystery Quilt Club
The Moda U Postcard Mystery Quilt Club will meet the last Saturday of the month on March 31st from 4-5pm. The blocks are $8 per month. Call us for more details.
