March is here and we are just about settled in at the new location. The address is 3572 West TC Jester located in Jester Plaza. This is just north of 610 and 34th street. The location is similar to the old location on Ella. Go to our web site and click on the "Contact Us" page to find a detailed map. Thank you for your patience during our move!
We will open the new shop this Saturday, March 8th at 9am and resume our normal store hours M-F 10am –5pm, Sat. 9am –4pm, Sunday closed. We are excited about having more space and hope everyone likes the new shop! We can’t wait for you to see it! Come by this Saturday and visit us!

Idea Saturday will be Saturday March 15th at 9am sharp! Come get inspired with some new ideas and receive an Idea Saturday booklet with all the instructions free! If you ordered Girl Scout cookies in January, please pick them up at March’s Idea Saturday. We will have orange juice and donut holes for breakfast.
Upcoming Classes: We will resume classes in April.
Ovarian cancer awareness and research update: The online auction that MD Anderson is handling will be in March 26th – April 9th 2008! The Wild Wild West Shop Hop dates have been set for June 19 – 22, 2008. We are asking our customers to donate 12” predominately teal 12 ½” unfinished blocks again this year.
All the shops will be involved again with MD Anderson in the Quilt Teal campaign. Blank textiles have designed 7 new Ovarian Cancer Teal fabrics for us and will be available in late March. We will once again have a sew-in to put all the blocks together into tops in late September 2008. More info will be coming soon or you can go to www.wildwildwestshophop.com web site for more info.
That Quilter Donna Warnement will be here the 2nd Tuesday March 11th from 10am – noon. Come bring your tops for quilting or pick one up that’s been quilted. Come for show and tell, you will be inspired seeing all the quilts! Donna does beautiful work; you will be pleased with her quilting expertise!
Block of the Month Kits: February Sunbonnet Sue BOM kits are ready; the March kits will be ready March 15th. The February Flower of the Month kits will be ready March 8th. This is the last block for the Flower of the Month BOM. On March 28th the finishing kit for the Flower of the Month series will be ready.
The Thimbleberries Club will meet Thursday March 13th from 6-7pm or Sunday March 16th from 2-3pm.
