*November This year is flying by as we approach November and much more pleasant fall weather.  Don’t forget to turn back your clocks this Halloween night to get that extra hour of quilt time!  We hope all of you that had a chance to attend Quilt Market or Festival, and came home full of fresh inspiration to make all of the quilts and projects that our hearts desire!  We were truly blessed during Quilt Festival to have so many visitors to the shop from around the world.  People came from China, South Africa, Australia, Germany, France, Costa Rica and Norway and from all over the US too!  It was a special treat when Eleanor Burns with her family and friends came by one day.  What a delight it was to share ideas about the shop with her and meet such a nice group of people!  Our daughter Jamie and her friend Alayna came down from St. Louis to attend market with us because Jamie has recently become addicted to sewing and quilting, yippee!  Jamie got totally inspired and had the opportunity to meet and chat with Amy Butler, which really made her day and inspired her more!  Check out our blog or facebook page to see photos from Market. Come see us soon and see all of the new fabrics that have been arriving weekly and make all those inspirations become reality!

Do you need a Jump Start?

Just a little kick start to get that project going?   Here’s how Sunflower Quilts can help you.  It’s called our Jump Start Corner, and it’s coming this month.   So, what is a Jump Start, and how does it work? Easy. . .  First, choose a pattern or book from the variety available in the Jump Start Corner.  Second, choose your fabrics from our JUMP START fabric packs (coordinated fabric bundles pre-selected specifically for these projects). And last, customize your project by selecting the finishing fabrics (i.e. sashing, border, background, binding, and backing).  With our customers in mind., we have chosen Jump Start projects that are user friendly (most have been tested by the staff).  Sometimes we will even give you a Sunflower Quilts exclusive tip sheet.  These projects will vary by month so check the Jump Start corner often.

Remember, it’s easy to get started with a Jump Start. . .just CHOOSE your pattern or book, SELECT your JUMP START fabric pack, CUSTOMIZE, and SEW!

Can’t wait for you to come in and see our new Jump Start Corner and Happy Sewing!

We will be closed Thursday and Friday November 26-27 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We will reopen Saturday November 28th from 9am - 4pm.

We all wish you a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday!

Blessings, Logan, Jill, Laurel, Jamie, Anita and Brenda
